Lost in the shuffle of all of the big-ticket announcements at CES are the small triumphs, like the new iOS camera accessory, Swivl. Mount your device onto it and the Swivl can track whatever object is holding its electronic marker even as the objects moves, panning and tilting accordingly to keep the object in-frame. With no hands-on operating required, users can even film themselves.
Early reports out of CES have the Swivl as working without a hitch, its movements smoother than human operators. And with an on-board mic also on-deck, the Swivl could very well justify its price tag when it drops in the coming weeks.
