If there is any show for which a "best and worst" breakdown is wholly appropriate, it's Ryan Murphy's batshit crazy series American Horror Story. Easily the most polarizing new show of the fall, the FX ratings monster was somehow able to be simultaneously entertaining in a very fresh, nothing-like-it-elsewhere-on-TV manner as well as frustratingly incoherent and over-the-top, to say the least.
