Good news, fans of The Killing: there will be a season two! AMC has picked up the acclaimed procedural for another year, though whether the characters in the show will remain when the central season one mystery is solved remains to be seen.
The first season has dealt with the death of Rosie Larson, a case the show will likely solve at the end of the season next week. Presumably, season two will focus on a new case and a new cast of suspects. The Killing is the fourth AMC series to make it to a second season, joining Mad Men, Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead. Only sad little Rubicon was canceled because of poor ratings.
