If you like juggling enemies with over-sized weaponry and your soul still burns then feast your eyes of more of the same from a franchise in serious need of a reboot. The E3 trailer gives us our first peek into the gameplay of Soul Calibur V and unfortunately it looks uncannily similar to Soul Calibur IV. Sure the graphics look well done and the gameplay is smooth, but where is the innovation? This was such an amazing franchise and it would be a shame if they continue to pump out titles with only minor tweaks and an occasional new character or two. Let’s hope they’ve got an ace up their sleeves to quiet all the naysayers, but for now we say, “NAY!”
