Yesterday in our Wii U rundown, we stated that Nintendo is trying to recapture the attention of the hardcore gamers with its new console. Today, we offer you a trailer which displays how the Wii U’s sophisticated controller can open up new gameplay experiences for everyone. While still an early demo, the trailer shows a co-op team tackling a mission together in Ghost Recon Online. They use the controller’s microphone to chat with each other without the use of headsets and the 6.2-inch screen functions as an overhead radar map useful for coordinating team movements. The Wii U’s controller should give game developers a wide breadth of creative space to run wild in and we can’t wait to see what they come up with next.
