For you real hip-hoppers out there, we know you've been waiting with baited breath for Royce da 5'9" to release his new album Book of Ryan, especially when he started sharing details on it a few months back. With dynamic cuts like the J. Cole-assisted "Boblo Boat" already heating things up, Royce saved one of the most monstrous cuts for the eve of the album's release: "Caterpillar," featuring King Green and his long-time collaborator and friend, Eminem.
After Royce announced the features on the project, many have been speculating on what the "Caterpillar" remix featuring Logic would be, even going as far as to assume that Logic, Em, and Royce might be on the same track. During a recent interview with Rap-Up, all Royce said was "Logic is on the ‘Caterpillar’ remix. He’s spitting that brutal honesty and he spit for like 50-something bars. It’s one of those shut-the-internet-down-for-a-couple-of-days verses for sure. I’m proud of him for that one."
On tonight's episode of Open Late with Peter Rosenberg, Peter took Royce on a walk with his lovable dog, Bear, in a new segment called "Bear With Me." During their chat, Royce opened up on how the record, and it's remix, came together.

“Originally, I put Logic on the record," Royce began. "Logic got on the record, smoked it.” Royce also made sure to point out that "ya'll better stop dissing Logic."
When it came time to shoot the "Caterpillar" video, Royce said that he and Logic "couldn’t figure out a good time for us to be able to do it. So that’s why there’s a version—the main mix is featuring Eminem, and the remix is featuring Logic, so I got both versions on the album."
Rosenberg, being the fan of BARS that he is, asked if there's a version with both Em and Logic on it. Royce says he couldn't, "because it would've been 12 minutes. Both of them went off."
Royce even admitted that he got smoked by Em and Logic.
