It appears Lil Uzi Vert has new music in store.

On Friday night, the Philadelphia rapper made a surprise appearance on Young Thug’s Instagram Live broadcast, in which he shared a snippet of a never-before-heard track.

This, of course, has fueled speculation about an upcoming Uzi Vert album. Just one day before the rapper previewed the track, producer Don Cannon suggested Uzi Vert’s sophomore album would arrive sometime this year.

Cannon, who helms Uzi Vert’s record label Generation Now, responded to a tweet that listed off 2018’s biggest and most anticipated music projects, including albums by Rae Sremmurd, The Weeknd, Drake, and ASAP Rocky. Cannon, being the good boss that he is, made sure Uzi Vert also received an acknowledgement.

Stay tuned for more details.
