Here's Kendrick Lamar Freestyling Over 2Pac's "Hit 'Em Up"

It's also the one year anniversary of Kendrick's 'Damn' album.

To celebrate the one year anniversary of Kendrick Lamar releasing his critically acclaimed fourth studio album Damn, which dropped on April 14, 2017, Big Boy's Neighborhood Instagram account shared a freestyle from the Compton rapper.

The clip shows Kendrick spit some bars over2Pac's classic 1996 diss song "Hit 'Em Up" featuring Outlawz. Peep it below.

Judging from Kendrick's outfit, it looks like the freestyle was originally recorded back in 2017, when he stopped by Big Boy TV

You can check out said interview below.

Yesterday, Kendrick made a surprise appearance during Vince Staple's Coachella set. But that wasn't all. Kendrick also came out for SZA's set, helping his TDE label-mate perform “Doves in the Wind” from her debut album Ctrl and “All the Stars” from the Black Panther soundtrack.

Unfortunately, the clip of Kendrick's 2Pac freestyle was cut short. Hopefully the full version will turn up at some point.
