English singer-songwriter Ella Mai has shared the official music video for “Boo’d Up,” the opener of her 2018 EP, Ready.
The visual pairs perfectly with the R&B track, as it features Ella enjoying her time at an amusement park with a love interest and friends. Khalid and Kamaiyah, along with YouTube personality Alissa Ashley make cameos in the video directed by Nick Walker.
“We released ‘Boo’d Up’ a year ago now on my third EP Ready,” Ella recently told Billboard. “None of us thought this song could possibly have a rebirth. I feel like it’s God’s time and I can’t really question it. But we’re extremely excited and grateful that everything is happening the way it’s happening.”

Ella is set to perform at the BET Experience on June 22 as well as the Essence Music Festival on July 7. The rising star is also expected to release her debut studio album sometime later this year.
