Drake's "God's Plan" Becomes Second Song to Ever Get 100 Million Streams in a Week

Drake adds another impressive record to his résumé.

Drake songs have a habit of lengthy chart hangs, and his Scary Hours single "God's Plan" is no exception.

As of Monday, Billboard had the 6 God's latest once again topping the Billboard Hot 100. For the fifth week in a row, "God's Plan" is at No. 1, this time with an unheard-of 101.7 million U.S. streams. The only other song to ever smash more than 100 million streams in a week is Baauer's "Harlem Shake" back in 2013. At 103.1 million streams in March of that year, "Harlem Shake" still holds the record.

"God's Plan" is followed in this week's top five by tracks from Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars x Cardi B, Camila Cabello x Young Thug, and BlocBoy JB x Drake. A large part of this week's boost can be attributed to the release of the official Karena Evans-directed video.

"The budget for this video was $996,631.90," the video informs viewers during the intro. "We gave it all away. Don't tell the label." The concept was later parodied by Jimmy Kimmel with a mere $100.

Drake also asked his Instagram followers to join him for a kindness challenge. "I am not into challenges on IG," Drake said, wisely. "I find them annoying. But today I am going to challenge everyone to just go out and do something for someone, anything, the smallest thing just to bring another human being some joy."

Scary Hours also features "Diplomatic Immunity," a Nick Brongers and Boi1da-produced cut that has enjoyed its own Hot 100 run.
