The people can’t get enough of Bruno Mars and Cardi B’s “Finesse” remix.

After debuting at No. 35 on the Hot 100 chart (after only one day of streaming and three days of radio play), the 1990s-inspired track has surged all the way to No. 3 following its first full week on the market. Billboard reports this is only the second time in the chart’s history that a record has been able to surge from No. 35 all the way to No. 3; the other act to accomplish this was Michael Jackson with his 1991 hit “Black or White.”

“Finesse” also marks Cardi’s fourth Hot 100 top 10 track, following “Bodak Yellow,” G-Eazy's "No Limit” featuring A$AP Rocky, and Migos’ “MotorSport” with Nicki Minaj; the latter two are still sitting in the chart’s top 10 at No. 5 and No. 10, respectively. The remix’s success has also made Mars the second male artist in history to earn at least three Hot 100 top 10 hits from each of his first three studio albums. The original version of “Finesse” appeared on his 2016 project 24K Magic. The album’s previously charted singles were the title track (peaked at No. 4) and “That's What I Like” (peaked at No. 1).

“Finesse” is also leading Billboard’s Streaming Songs chart, dethroning Post Malone’s “Rockstar” by racking in 38.3 million U.S. streams (up 342 percent). This marks Mars’ second No. 1 song on the streaming chart following 2015’s “Uptown Funk!” with Mark Ronson. Cardi, too, had previously topped this chart with her debut single “Bodak Yellow.”

Furthermore, “Finesse” has climbed from No. 13 to No. 2 on the Digital Song Sales chart, with 87,000 downloads sold last week, as well as the Radio Songs charts, with 52 million in all-format airplay audience. It is also leading the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs (16-1) and the Hot R&B Songs (2-1).

It’s clear Jim Carrey isn’t the only one who appreciates this track.

This week’s Hot 100 chart is led by Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect,” followed by Camila Cabello's “Havana” at No. 2. “Rockstar” falls to No. 3, while Imagine Dragons' “Thunder” sits at No. 3.
