As promised, Miguel's new album War & Leisure, his fourth studio outing, is now out. To build up support for the album, Miguel dropped the singles "Told You So," the Travis Scott-assisted "Sky Walker," "Come Through and Chill" featuring J. Cole and Salaam Remi, and "Pineapple Skies." Miguel also released the politically charged visuals for "Now," which you can watch up top.

Earlier in the day, Paper Magazine unveiled its cover story with the singer.

Miguel channeled the legendary Spanish artist Salvador Dali for his photo shoot. When asked about the concept behind his latest album, he explained:

"It's been in the back of my head for some time. I think it was understanding my body of work and trying to make heads or tails of it. I just felt an overwhelming sense of inspiration that's pulling in opposite directions, on every level. When I really sat down to think about what those opposing forces were, that was my best way to describe it."

Miguel also stopped by Beats 1 to chop it up with Ebro. It was an interesting conversation in which the artist talked about his new album, the concepts behind it, and the folks he collaborated with on the project. When asked about J. Cole and how the track "Come Through and Chill" came about, Miguel replied with the following:

"It was the last night I was in Miami and it was rainy. It was rainy and I was like man I kind of want to get out. But it's not looking like it's one of those nights you know. And that's the first line. It's been a long time I'm in town come through. It's very conversational. And Cole is you know one of the best at that. He's one of the best at really feeling like you're having — he's having a conversation with you and really like doing it at a level is just like. So it felt like it felt like a good dream team. You know we've got to come back. "
