Cardi B is back with the only gift we need this holiday season—new music. The Bronx rapper officially teased her new song “Bartier Cardi” featuring 21 Savage with a snippet via Instagram. Unofficial video of Cardi talking about her new song was shared on Dec. 1, but now the Bronx rapper has officially announced the new track will be coming Dec. 22.
The single follows her feature on Ozuna’s new song “La Modela,” and is her first solo release since her breakout song “Bodak Yellow.” Yesterday, Cardi also popped up in the video for her G-Eazy collab “No Limit.”
Cardi and 21 Savage have each had a busy year. 21 released a couple projects in 2017, including his debut LP Issa Album in July, and his joint project Without Warning with Metro Boomin and Offset in October. He was also featured on Post Malone’s No. 1 hit “Rockstar.”
The new track is hopefully the first off her debut album, which she pushed back from its original October release date. “Bodak Yellow” broke more records than one, and with three hit songs currently in the Billboard top ten, this new track will tie a bow on a fantastic year for the Grammy-nominated emcee.
