Anderson .Paak Joins Talib Kweli on Kaytranada-Produced Single "Traveling Light"

Talib Kweli shares a star-studded single from his new album, 'Radio Silence,' coming this Friday.

Sitting down with Zane Lowe before sharing his new single, "Traveling Light," Talib Kweli explained that he's been sitting on beats from Kaytranada that were emailed to him years ago, before anyone even knew who Kaytranada was.

Now, one of those beats has come to light on a bouncy new single from his forthcoming album, Radio Silence. The song includes guest vocals from Anderson .Paak, who Kweli says he was originally attracted to because of his old soul.

"Anderson .Paak reminds me of when I first heard CeeLo Green," Kweli explained. "When you first hear CeeLo Green you think you're listening to a 60-year-old black man who's weathered and wrinkled and has lived some experiences. So, when I first met Anderson, I was like, how old are you?"

You can hear what they cooked up on Apple Music.
