Nicki Minaj stole the show on Migos' (and Cardi's) "MotorSport."

This was another month full of music releases, and honestly we could've gone with a bunch of other verses for the month's pick. Roc Marciano went off (per usual) on Meyhem Lauren's "Street Religion," Offset killed his feature onSuper Slimey's "Patek Water." Skepta showed why he's still Top Boy on "Still," the intro track to his surprise Halloween Vicious EP. But Nicki's verse on "MotorSport" is the one that made the most noise.

There were multiple reasons for why she had everybody talking. First and foremost, Nicki and Cardi were mysteriously featured on the same track amidst rumors of a beef brewing over the last several weeks, leading to rumors about how the song actually ended up getting made. Then, Nicki bodied everybody on the track. She hit us with multiple flows, the verse was dumb long, she got off on a couple metaphors, especially on towards the end, and she reminded us all why all these bitches is her sons. The song overall is a little underwhelming, though, but we had to give Nicki the nod for the Best Rap Verse of the Month (October 2017).
