Last night's episode of Later… with Jools Holland had a ridiculously stacked lineup of musical guests that included King Krule, Wolf Alice, and Grizzly Bear. But the highlight was a beautiful performance from SZA, who was making her UK television debut.
Choosing to play one of the most underrated cuts from her new album, CTRL, SZA once again proved she's one of the few artists who can deliver a soothing, laid-back performance that will also keep you at the edge of your seat. It's difficult to think of a singer with a more magnetic personality right now. And that guitar solo that comes in at the 3:45 mark takes things over the top. Gorgeous.
