When new trends in hip-hop emerge, it's usually not long before things start to feel stale. Young artists push things forward, others follows suit, and soon enough it seems like everyone's doing the same thing. But every now and then, and artist comes along and pushes things to an exciting new extreme. Trippie Redd is one of those artists.
The Ohio native ties together emotional, pop punk-esque deliveries with catchy melodies, experimental approaches, and charisma for days. His project A Love Letter To You showcases all of these things, and people are starting to take notice. Trippie Redd's already got cosigns from Ugly God, Playboi Carti, and other rising stars, plus a freshly penned deal with Strainge Entertainment, the LA-based label headed by Elliot Grainge.
Trippie is heating up quickly, and for good reason. His biggest song "Love Scars" is loved by many and confusing to some, but for those who feel it, it's clear that this kid has something special.
