The Still Striving project, Ferg's follow-up to last year's Always Strive and Prosper, is expected to be released later this year. Ferg gave fans an update on the project at the top of this month, tellingBillboard the music was already finished. "As you know, we have to clear songs, and we're just making sure that the rollout is proper, because there's been times that I put out the music and there were really good songs, but it doesn't live too long because the rollout may have not been tight enough," he said. "We just wanna make sure that the rollout is right this go-round, because it's a really, really good body of work."

Last month, Ferg shared the official video for "East Coast" featuring Remy Ma. The track, produced by DJ Khalil and Tariq Beats, is the first single from Still Striving.
