Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, which we named one of the most anticipated albums of 2017, is expected to drop soon. The ColleGrove follow-up was originally set to drop earlier this month, but has been delayed for unknown reasons.
In an interview with Complex earlier this month, "It's a Vibe" producer Murda Beatz—who also produced early 2017 favorites "No Frauds" and "Portland"—discussed the rise of his career. "When I crossed over from Chicago drill music to Atlanta trap music," he said when asked to pinpoint the moment he knew things were starting to blow up. "I'd say that was like, because when I started working with the Migos, I feel like a lot of producers that were online and stuff were still in the trap—in the drill scene. So, I feel like I was like, when I crossed over, no one really was on to that yet, and then everything started hoppin' in Atlanta."
