ASAP Rocky and ASAP Ferg appeared on the Rap Radar Podcast to promote the second annual Yams Day at Madison Square Garden on Jan. 18 featuring performances by the ASAP Mob, Danny Brown, TDE, Joey Badass, Kirk Knight, Lil Uzi Vert, Flatbush Zombies, Playboi Carti, Cam’ron, Retch, T-Pain, and Sha Hef.

During the nearly two-hour interview, Rocky and Ferg spoke with hosts Elliott Wilson and Brian “B. Dot” Miller and revealed plenty of gems about their friendship, creative process, fashion, and more. Rocky shared some exclusive news that Young Thug would be joining the line-up next Wednesday, and hinted that he’ll be dropping new music for the occasion. Currently, the group is working on The Cozy Tapes Vol. 2, where Rocky and Ferg have recently been in the studio together after not seeing each other for months. Rocky confirmed there’s a song with Ferg and Carti called “Margiela Madman,” as well as another produced by Harry Fraud titled “Wrong.”

Rocky also spoke about his relationship with Ian Connor. In 2016, a video surfaced of a fight between Connor and ASAP Bari at the Colette Store in Paris, which led to more trash talking on Twitter. (Theophilus London was involved too.)  Connor became the face of controversy after six women came forward with allegations that they were raped by him. Read his full response transcribed below:

"I thought it was really fucked up. But one thing I will say is, you know, not to get on that topic too much because that’s a touchy situation that I would rather not talk about. We talking about what we talking about—you can’t justify it. Anything I say in the situation right now it’s not going to sound good so I guess it’d be best to skip it. Like, I’m not his lawyer like I said before."

Rocky adds that Connor and Bari fighting is just a sign of brotherly love. “It’s just brothers, y’all just happened to see it. I just think like at the end of the day, they young men. When they figure when they want to get it together, they gonna figure it out,” he says.
