Puff Daddy and the Family are back with the latest set of visuals from the 2015 album MMM, and he certainly looks like he's having a good time. The Bad Boy CEO throws a party at his mansion, inviting along a cadre of beautiful women. Him, Ty Dolla $ign, and Gizzle take turns serenading and dancing with them, in what had to be a fun video shoot. In an encouraging sign of progress in hip-hop, queer female rapper Gizzle does her thing with the ladies as well, and pretty much nobody has made a big deal about it. Kudos to Puffy for giving a talented MC outside the usual norms of rap music a chance to shine.
At the end of the day, Ty Dolla $ign really steals the show. He holds it down on the majority of the song, and is front and center for most of the video. With the weather heating up, "You Could Be My Lover" is prepared with a serious dose of summer vibes. The song can be found on MMM, Puffy's 2015 album which also featured singles like "Workin" and "Blow a Check."
