As an artist, when you put music out in the world, you really have no idea with whom it's going to resonate with. Maybe you have a general idea of who your audience is mostly comprised of, but then there are those unexpected people who happen upon one of your songs or a records and it just speaks to them. Recently, Young Thug found himself in Birmingham, Alabama where he ran into a most surprising fan indeed: the Town's 66 year-old Mayor William A. Bell.

Apparently, in their short meet-up, Mayor Bell let Thugger know that he was a huge fan of the rapper's most recent release Slime Season III, before they posed for a joint picture. There's still no word at this time on what Mayor Bell thought about the Barter VI or about his thoughts on the ongoing Drake vs. Meek Mill feud.
