Britney Spears hasn't had the greatest 2016 so far. A few days ago, the pop icon posted a photo to Instagram of her face with a massive bruise set above her right eye with a caption that read, "Good morning 2016! Don't mind the little bruise on my forehead... Ran into a pole."
Things didn't get much better the next day when during her over-the-top Las Vegas stage show at the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino she found herself stuck to a massive plastic tree midway through performing her song "Toxic." Spears was strapped into a harness and was supposed to fly above the crowd, but the apparatus got tangled in the prop behind her and a crew member had to scramble up the tree to free her. Let's all hope things get better for Britney as the year continues.
