A high school buddy of J.Cole posted a pretty awesome story about him on Facebook tonight, describing a truly noble promise that the rapper kept for a lucky and gracious young fan. While attending Cole's much publicized homecoming show last weekend, his friend told the story of a girl who the rapper flew down from New Jersey to attend the show. He described the heartbreaking details of her situation, and that Cole had promised to come to her high school graduation if she agreed to attend a four year university.
The girl in question happened to be Cierra Bosarge, who we spoke to a few months ago about J.Cole attending her graduation. His two year promise turned out to be the start of a great friendship, one that transcends the music that motivated her to keep going. Cole's friend even added that Bosarge claimed that Cole was paying her tuition and her books for college. What a class act. Check out the full story above.
