Safaree Samuels, best known as Nicki Minaj's hypeman and longtime boyfriend, appeared on The Breakfast Club this morning. We're assuming most people probably expected SB to throw quite a bit of shade at Nicki during the 46-minute interview—something he's been known to do in recent TMZ videos—but he was actually rather cordial during the sit down. SB talked about how him and Nicki first met and how he's planning to move on from the relationship.

During the interview, the crew asked him about Nicki's recent tweet calling him "corny," and rather than firing back, he said he wants her to move on like he is. He wouldn't reveal who broke up with who in the relationship, but said he did move out of their living situation. "I moved on. I walked away from the situation. I walked away, I'm not gonna say I broke up but I left," Samuels said.

Even with her recent tweet, Nicki has been publicly dealing with the breakup in her own way, becoming very emotional twice over it during interviews with Angie Martinez and Elliott Wilson.

On rumors that Nicki is currently dating Meek Mill, SB said that if that's who she wants to be with, he's fine with it. "I don’t care who you with, who you with don’t mean nothing to me. I want you to move on, because I’m moving on. I walked away from the situation," Samuels said during the interview. He also clarified that he has no issues with Lil Wayne and Drake. "If it wasn't for Wayne none of us would be here right now," he said. "It's a song!...As far as the "Only" song that's something people on the outside took as disrespect more than I did."
