Kanye West took to Twitter earlier this evening to reveal he and and his wife, Kim Kardashian, met with President Barack Obama last month. "I'm supporting the Democratic ticket in these midterms," he said on Twitter.

This should put to bed any rumblings that the two are not on good terms. As a quick recap, Obama called West a "jackass" back in 2009 following the Taylor Swift/VMA incident, to which Kanye replied, "He was just trying to be cool in a room full of people that would be judging him also. It's just like 'Ye, I know you can take that one on the chest so let me just say that right now.'"

Kanye West's comments on the midterm elections continued. "The midterms are extremely important," he said. "I know it’s last minute, but if you haven’t voted, please vote today." A public search on NYSVoter reveals West is in fact registered as a voter in the state of New York.
