Fresh off the release of his sophomore mixtape Village Party, Chicago rapper Alex Wiley returns with the Andrew Zeiter and Bryan Lamb-directed visuals for “Own Man”—a previously released street single excluded from the aforementioned project.

Joined by guest artist and poetic rhymer Mick Jenkins, the meta video, which was recorded at SXSW, plays out across a pile of televisions. Grainy footage and a permeating old school feel align nicely with Odd Couple’s brooding, string and sample-driven production.
