I'm not trying to coin it or even suggest it's fully "back" or whatever yet, but fidget sounds are 100% on the comeback in 2014. You can point to the Melbourne bounce that's seeping out of Australia or the Main Course camp slaughtering the weirdo mindfuck house world on a weekly basis. Some of the dons of the movement have jumped on social media to plead no to the return, but I think it's starting to become inevitable. Peep the latest tune from Crookers here as further evidence of this movement. I mean, if it was 2006 and Switch was still running the house world you'd have to classify this as "fidget." And it's pretty freaking rad to boot. Just don't call it "fidget," I guess.
