Earlier today, NBA commissioner Adam Silver announced that the Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling would be receiving a lifetime ban from the league following his racial comments that were made public over the weekend. Silver also made it clear that the NBA is planning to seek new ownership for the Clippers, though Sterling claims the team is not for sale.
