Today, Atlanta found itself in the grip of a fierce winter storm that the National Weather Service warned could reach "historical proportions." The threat of ice and snow prompted school cancellations, and President Obama declared a state of emergency. Tonight, the storm is set to continue. It's a little like, well, Alaska in Atlanta.

WAS IT ALL SIMPLY THE GREATEST VIRAL MARKETING CAMPAIGN EVER? There's no telling, but one thing that's for sure is that winter storm didn't happen at just any time. It happened right when OJ Da Juiceman, who's been M.I.A. from music, was releasing his long-awaited follow-up to 2009's Alaska In Atlanta. Is it simply a coincidence, a special winter miracle, or does the Atlanta rapper really have that much of a frozen touch? You'll have to decide for yourself.

The mixtape features production from Atlanta mainstays like Zaytoven, TM88, Sonny Digital, Metro Boomin, Cnote and C4, as well as appearances from Gucci Mane, Gorilla Zoe and Bloody Jay. While it's not as consistent as some of his other outings, there's still plenty here for fans of Juiceman's incomparable trap metaphors (e.g. "swim team wrist/when I'm cooking fish/catch me in the kitchen/nigga I can serve a dish"). And, you know, it's snowing. Get in the right mood for the season and check out Alaska In Atlanta 2 here.
