Diddy is executive producing Rick Ross' forthcoming album Mastermind. After initially being announced as the album's mixer, the Bad Boy honcho was announced as executive producer today.
"Now we can let the cat out the bag," Diddy said in a video for his Revolt TV. "In the final two weeks, I was brought in as part of the team... to co-executive produce this Mastermind album. It's a privilege." Ross added his two cents with, "This is the biggest event of the year, March 4th. All the masterminds came together, man." In an official press release, Ross continued, "Diddy is one of the greatest producers of all time and someone I respect. He has a proven track record of not only creating hit records but also classic albums. It just made sense for me to have him be a part of this process."
Diddy has production credits for big names like Jay Z and Beyonce to J. Lo and The Notorious B.I.G.
