According to Billboard, Rihanna has surpassed 10 million in album sales in the U.S. This milestone comes after her latest album, Unapologetic, sold 5,000 copies last week to bring her running total to 10,001,000.
Since her 2005 debut album Music of the Sun, Rihanna has released seven albums in total with Unapologetic being her first to go No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Each release has gone on to sell one million copies aside from her debut, with her best-selling album being Good Girl Gone Bad. Released in 2007, the album has sold 2.8 million copies to date. Rihanna recently celebrated the completion of "The Diamonds World Tour" with a twerk session. Hopefully this sales milestone will inspire her to release something more substantial for our viewing pleasure. Fingers crossed.
