We found out about this a while back. But now it's beginning to sound like A$AP Rocky's self-produced instrumental album will really materialize. For one, it has a name: Beauty and the Beast: Slowed Down Sessions (Chapter 1).

Rocky describes this foray into the producing world with a certain reserve, apparently surprised that people even cared about it. He calls his work "really druggy, ambient, airy shit," but also as "classical music and boom-bap Wu-Tang shit mixed together." Sounds ambitious, to say the least.

He also says that he already (before his current girlfriend, of course) utilized his own soundtrack for himself and "100 b*tches." It's been tried and tested, so to speak, and he'll soon be ready to let it help "get people through the summer." At the very least, it will be interesting to see how Rocky conveys his purplish swag with no lyrics.
