UFO! is a producer some of us older androids remember from his forward-thinking drum & bass tracks from years back. Over the last few years, he's delved more into the bass music scene, flipping trap, moombahton, and other styles in his own distinct style. We fell in love with the original "It's A Trap," and saw that UFO! dropped the much-talked about "It's A Trap" remix EP, featuring remixes from some of the freshest faces in the scene: ETC!ETC!, SPL, Ookay, and others.
ETC!ETC! brings what we feel is the best version, with a massive moombah rework on this one, where the others more or less bring a modified version of the trap sound to the game. It makes sense, as it's the name of the fucking tune - and the EP, and this might be the first time we've heard Silent Killer rock some non-drum & bass styles (his rendition maintains a grip of trap flavors, but he brings the noise into something truly unique). All in all, this remix EP shows that trap definitely still has legs, especially when producers reinterpret the makings of the scene into something a bit more unique.
