Over one month ago, Questlovegave an update on D'Angelo's upcoming album, claiming that it was "99 percent done." Now, in an interview with Hot 97's J. Medina at the Billboard relaunch party, the drummer confirms that the album will come out in 2013. "It will definitely be out in 2013, beyond a doubt," he says.
Also in the interview, Questlove talks about The Roots celebrating four years as the house band on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. He announces that the anniversary show will be on March 1, this coming Friday, and that the special guests will include Mariah Carey and Prince. This is definitely something to look forward to as the week progresses.
