Third time's a charm for Rihanna—and Rolling Stone, for that matter.

Yesterday, the magazine revealed that the chart-topping pop star's not only covering their new issue, but that Rihanna's finally opened up about her relationship with Chris Brown. And yes, it's officially a relationship again.

But, take note: Over the past three months, Rihanna's graced the covers of GQ, Complex, and now, Rolling Stone. What difference does a cover make? Well...

GQ

They might have had solid access, but Rihanna didn't put up with any questions about Chris Brown. She snapped at the reporter when asked about the fight between Drake and Brown at NYC's W.i.P. last year. Then again, the writer was also at the Griffin watching the two together.

Complex

Complex, too, had access after flying with Rih on the #777 Tour and meeting her at an L.A. restaurant, but Rihanna was still tight-lipped on anything regarding her and Brown, referring to it as "nobody's business."

Rolling Stone

That all changed in her interview with Rolling Stone. As teased out by the magazine's website, the Unapologetic singer shared details on her rekindled relationship with Chris:

So what can we take away from this, besides the fact that Rihanna's back together with Chris Brown?

1. Either she's got the hardest-working publicists in the world, or the smartest. Rather than let the message just come out in one fell swoop, she took not one, not two, but three magazine covers three months in a row to fully express a basic truth everyone knew, and yet, she still made news with it, and there's not even an outrage, or a backlash. Just a lot of talk about Rihanna, this blog post included.

2. "Nobody's Business" might not really be nobody's business, but given the way she's running her love life in the press, it's most certainly a business, most certainly Rihanna's, and pretty obviously, a  successful one.
