Last month Compton up-and-comer Kendrick Lamar performed at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago. Today Pitchfork unveils “Radio Run,” a mini-documentary about the rapper’s July 15 performance. Directed by Eavvon O’Neal, the film is part video of Lamar’s impressive set, part footage of Lamar making the press circuit and part Lamar driving around town while talking about his life, career and weekend.
Watch the 11-minute film in full above and keep an eye out for Lamar’s major label debut, good kid, m.A.A.d city, due out October 2 via Top Dawg/Aftermath/Interscope.
