Who Is Skylar Grey?

There's no clear-cut path to success. A lot of new artists find early blog support and YouTube subscribers essential to the ride. Then there's artists like Skylar Grey who blow up in that split-second, WTF, where-did-they-come-from, sort of way. Last year, she helped pen Eminem and Rihanna's No. 1 single, "Love The Way You Lie" (RiRi's chorus, obvs), that stayed at the top of the charts for seven weeks.
She's gone on to work with T.I. and Diddy, and most recently provided hooks for Lupe Fiasco's "Words I Never Said," and Dr. Dre's Detox single, "I Need A Doctor." The 24-year-old Wisconsin native born Holly Brook Hafermann, has been quietly working since she was a kid, and shrouded in mystery until her newfound success—but she just released her first official pictures as Skylar Grey, so not anymore. I knew she'll blow up in 2011 since she's been getting featured, and writing songs in 2010 sorta like how Bruno Mars started buzzing, but for some damn reason not even Google could help me find an image of her, which led me to believe she probably wouldn't become a solo artist. Some media outlets did take away her name from the title in Diddy's single I'm Coming Home, now here we are. At least now I know how she looks. Thanks Complex.

Just look up "Holly Brook" on google and you'll find pictures of Skylar Grey.. Just with black hair instead of red.

Everybody go to Youtube. Beyonce and Nicky are on a remix together on her lead single Run the World Girls. Its produced by this guy name Fyuchur. Its Hot!! Both of their fans love it
