Lil Wayne Explains Inspiration Behind "Green & Yellow" To ESPN

Although he is an avid sports fan and reps New Orleans to the death, Weezy F. Baby has never been a New Orleans Saints fan. Still, it comes as a shock to some that he make his own version of Wiz Khalifia's "Black & Yellow" dedicated to the Green Bay Packers titled "Green & Yellow" just in time for the Superbowl. But since he's known as Mr. "Jump In The Booth And Go Viral," it's a no-brainer why he could would choose to remix "Black & Yellow" seeing as how it is now officially double platinum and currently the opposing team's anthem. According to Wayne—who appeared on ESPN's 1st & 10—the song is not a diss towards Wiz Khalifa though, he just wanted to represent Green Bay.
