CNN Had the Perfect Response to Trump's Favorable Fox News Tweet

Trump accused the network of failing to properly represent the U.S.

This just in: Donald Trump still hates CNN.

Following his recent golf outing with Tiger Woods, POTUS went to Twitter to blast the news network for its poor representation of the United States. He accused CNN of spreading “fake news” (again) and said it was not as important as the conservative network Fox News.

"@FoxNews is MUCH more important in the United States than CNN, but outside of the U.S., CNN International is still a major source of (Fake) news, and they represent our Nation to the WORLD very poorly," he wrote on Twitter. "The outside world does not see the truth from them!"

As someone who has been consistently called out for his exaggerations and flat-out lies, Trump should know better than to question CNN’s honesty. Thankfully, Twitter called him out.

Swap CNN with Donald Trump and this would be a much more accurate statement when discussing news outside the states and Fox News is not more important simply because it's propaganda central. Not saying CNN is perfect but they are far more reliable and trustworthy

Donald Trump is upset that the world knows his secretary of state called him a #moron, his approval rating is below 40, he lost the election by popular vote, he hasn't achieved anything since he moved to the white house, the majority of Americans hate him @CNN

I fixed this for you...replace Fox News with Barack Obama, and CNN with Donald Trump and i think this makes more sense. pic.twitter.com/ACzLQMt7CA

Fox News is to CNN as SpongeBob SquarePants is to 60 Minutes and Donald Trump is to Barrack Obama.

Even CNN had a solid response to Trump’s tweet:

It's not CNN's job to represent the U.S to the world. That's yours. Our job is to report the news. #FactsFirst 🍎

— CNN Communications (@CNNPR) November 25, 2017

Just minutes after he criticized CNN and applauded Fox News, Trump retweeted a link to Magapill.com, a site that is said to list all of his administration’s accomplishments.

Wow, even I didn’t realize we did so much. Wish the Fake News would report! Thank you. https://t.co/ApVbu2b0Jd

The page initially led many users to an error page, which, of course, resulted in more Trump roasting.

Yeah, isn’t much is it? 🤷‍♂️ @CNN pic.twitter.com/k2a40ScOLx

Wow... "Error establishing database connection".
It seems this site works just as well as you do --- Not at all!

While in the Philippines I was forced to watch @CNN, which I have not done in months, and again realized how bad, and FAKE, it is. Loser!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 15, 2017

The president made a similar anti-CNN remark earlier this month, when he said he was “forced” to watch the network during his recent trip to Asia.

Time Magazine called to say that I was PROBABLY going to be named “Man (Person) of the Year,” like last year, but I would have to agree to an interview and a major photo shoot. I said probably is no good and took a pass. Thanks anyway!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 24, 2017

This is the second time this weekend Trump has called out a major media outlet. On Friday, he tweeted that TIME magazine contacted him about their upcoming “Person of the Year” issue. Trump claimed they wanted to set up an interview and photo shoot, because he would “probably” earn this year’s title. Trump said he passed on the offer.

The President is incorrect about how we choose Person of the Year. TIME does not comment on our choice until publication, which is December 6.

— TIME (@TIME) November 25, 2017

TIME magazine said Trump was mistaken.
