If you’re sexually adventurous and live in Michigan, you might wanna dial it down a bit. The state senate just voted to outlaw sexual acts of sodomy, anal and oral between consenting adults and those who are caught doing such despicable things may spend up to 15 years in prison.

According to The Free Thought Project, the bill is a way around the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2003 ruling in Lawrence v. Texas which declared bans on sodomy unconstitutional. They were able to achieve this by coupling the ban with bestiality under the guise that they're protecting the animals. "A person who commits the abominable and detestable crime against nature either with mankind or with any animal is guilty of a felony," the law read.

Idaho, Utah, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana have also passed laws banning anal and oral sex. In addition, Montana, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas instituted bans on these acts between non-heterosexual people.

So if you plan on having non-traditional, vanilla sex in any of these states, it's probably a good idea to think twice. The moral overlords are watching.
