After Bernie Sanders won the New Hampshire primary last week anybody who has any doubts that he's a serious contender for president should take a second look at the Vermont senator. While he's being endorsed by high profile people left and right, Sanders has now secured the support of one his most important fans, Erica Garner, the daughter of the late Eric Garner.

To show her admiration for the candidate, Garner, an activist, released a video that not only retells the awful story of her father's death, but shows her strong support for Sanders. Garner's father Eric was killed in the summer of 2014 after a Staten Island cop put him in a chokehold. While caught on video, Garner could be heard saying, "I can't breathe," words his daughter wears on a hoodie in the video.

"I believe Bernie Sanders is a protester…. He’s not scared to go up against the criminal-justice system," Garner states.

When the presidential candidate first starting campaigning he had a difficult time bringing in black voters, but as of late has been making a stronger effort to reach out to the community, perhaps most evident in his meetings with hip hop artist (and his possible friend?) Killer Mike.

You can watch all of Erica Garner's moving video above.
