Much is made of the differences between New York and Los Angeles. Those folks arguing over which coastal metropolis trumps the other ignore the glaring similarities. Like douchebags. They're everywhere. And when they go out drinking, they like to go to douchey bars. New York has plenty, and so does Los Angeles.

While Saddle Ranch dose win hands down she obviously missed a 1/2 dozen bars in Hollywood alone. While the Westside is on the list quite a bit, she missed the douchiest of all of them, Nikkis in Venice. Either she hasn't been to enough bars in LA to write this article or she only slept with guys that didn't call her back from these bars from these bars. A douche can be found at any bar in LA. What about South bay where the 30 year olds are still Frat guys.

You totally missed Winstons on santa monica blvd. in west hollywood - douchey all around, from the attitude of the people who work there (especially the door) to the typical pseudo hollywood wannabe crowd (which is pretty much any hollywood crowd). And Hyde Lounge and other SBE places...all incredibly douchey...did you guys avoid dissing SBE bars (despite their doucheyness) just to kiss their asses so they don't blacklist you? Lol. Well done overall though.

Seriously... Put every westwood bar on here but disregard the ONE bar that all of the USC douche frat guys and annoying sorority girls go to? John is right, the 9-0 is EASILY worse than half of these.

This article is pretty dead on. Hyde Lounge and those SBE places are more clubs than bars. But they definitely missed the 9-0!

how could this stupid douche not include any bars from USC but both bars at UCLA? USC is like a breeding ground for douchebags, and yet 9-0 missed this list? The fuck?? She obviously went to USC, so I guess it's ironic that she called out all the "douchebags" at these bars, when in fact, she is a douchebag herself.

What's funny is that I frequent most of these Westside bars on a regular basis, and I can think of a few worse venues to add to the list. For example, replace O'Brien's on Main Street with its neighbor Main on Main. Not to mention, Q's is actually a great place to meet guys BECAUSE there are so many of them there. More guys go there to watch sports than to pick up chicks, but it's loaded with the hot single yuppies of Brentwood. Sharkeez in Hermosa Beach should be #1. Actually, the entire Hermosa Pier should be #1.
