Haroshi might not have a compost pile in his backyard or three different bins to separate glass bottles from plastic from aluminum. However, he's found a much more unique and impressive way to recycle. The Tokyo-based artist takes used skateboard decks, glues them together in a pile and shaves away, sculpting the colorful wood into beautiful pieces of art. Check out a dog, a shark, a sneaker, an apple, and more in the thumbs.
