EverQuest Next Landmark is an ambitious new game that sounds like a crazy and complicated idea that just might work. Check out the video to see how developer Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) is going to take the ideas from games like Minecraft and update them. SOE has been struggling to explain just what Landmark is all about; this video goes a long way to do that.
EverQuest Next Landmark builds on the fantasy world of the franchise while players actually build the world and develop it themselves. As well as selling structures and items built within the game to form an economy. All the while battling the creatures and environment. It looks to be a more fantasy bailed and much better rendered Minecraft. So if you dig that kind of world building Landmark may be for you.
