Weapons. Video games are all about using them against your enemies. But sometimes, they can get a bit crazy.

Especially in fighting games, where you would think fists and feet would be the only means of taking out your opponent. Here’s a list of the top ten craziest weapons found in fighting games. Hadouken!

Okay, we know Battle Arena Toshinden started out as a weapon based fighter, but who told that asshole Vermilion that he could bring guns to a sword fight?

Packing a shotgun, twin revolvers, a machine gun, and a grenade launcher, Vermilion didn’t get the memo that guns vs. swords is totally unfair. What a jerk-off.

Yokozuna, rest his 800lb soul, was a sumo wrestler (emphasis on the wrestler). And what do sumo wrestlers do before a match? They salt the ring, of course.

Well, being the WWF (sorry, WWE), that wasn’t enough. So not only does Yokozuna have salt on his persons, but he also slams it in your face attached to what looks like a giant slab of ham. Hmm…well, why not?

What makes pokéballs so fascinating in the Smash Bros. series is that you don’t know what’s in them until you throw them. You could get a massive Snorlax, or end up with a flopping, useless Goldeen.

Who would think so much chaos could erupt from those red and white little balls?

Guilty Gear X is probably one of the craziest fighters out there. So, you would think very little would surprise us in the game.

Oh, but then comes Bridget, who not only battles with yo-yo’s, but also her mechanized teddy bear, Roger, who seriously wreaks havoc. Heaven or Hell!

Tattoos…as a weapon. Is there any wonder why we love fighting games so much? That’s just ridonkulous.

Everybody has a joke weapon in Soulcalibur 2, but none might be as comical as Link’s bug-catcher net.
