Art Basel Miami Beach

Miami Art Basel is one of the biggest art events not just in Miami, but in the nation. One thing is for certain: the event is big, and a little help sorting through the thousands of pieces there wouldn't hurt. With the Art Basel Miami Beach app, you can browse through galleries, artists and exhibitions using a 3D navigation system. This interactive map allows you to browse the halls, get gallery information, and look at thousands of artworks and organize them into favorites. Also, you can check out complete programs from Art Salon, Art Video, Art Film, Art Public and Miami Beach's museum exhibitions. The current version is 2012—but keep an eye out for a 2013 edition.

Canes Football

The University of Miami Hurricanes are ranked fourth on the list of All-time AP National Poll Championships, tied with USC and only behind Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Alabama. With a subscription to the Miami Herald's Canes Football app, users can get access to sports writer Manny Navarro's "Eye on the U" blog, listen to player interviews and comment on reports, analysis, insider information and opinion.
