Photo Sharing App 'Befunky' Launches iOS and Android Apps in the U.S.

Instagram received a lot of attention with its high profile acquisition by Facebook. Will photo sharing app Befunky be able to attract another high-end suitor?

Befunky brings some interesting features to the mobile photo-sharing game with "advanced smart enhancement and photo correction algorithms," according to Tekin Tatar, CEO and founder of Befunky. Of course, Befunky allows for integration with top social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and Flickr. Befunky also has its own website which allows users to display their work.

The Befunky team recently relocated from Turkey and moved its office to the U.S. epicenter of tech, San Francisco. With 5 million active monthly users posting over 50 million photos every month can Befunky become ether for Instagram? Try out Befunky for yourself, see if the startup is worth your smart phone photography skills. Download the iOS version here and the Android version here.
