It's a big year for Stussy. Not only is the brand celebrating 35 years in the game this year, but they're also enjoying 25 years in NYC. In honor of the brand's stake in New York's streetwear scene, Stussy is teaming with equally impactful New York hip-hop legends A Tribe Called Quest on a collection of tees, hoodies, and hats.

The collection, dropping July 18, is filled to the brim with references to the group's lyrics, albums, and graphics—all of which informed and inspired much of hip-hop's art and aesthetics in the late '80s and early '90s. As Stussy stated in a press release:

"A Tribe Called Quest’s music was informative on early Stüssy work in the late '80s and early '90s, and we continue to explore this influence with a collection featuring a variety of printed T-shirts with imagery from ATCQ's past records and videos, accented with a selection of fleece and a handful of accessories."

While the collection is going to be available to the public at large, those lucky enough to be within range of Stussy's New York Chapter store will have the opportunity to meet with every member of A Tribe Called Quest—Q-Tip, Phife, Ali, and Jarobi—on the day the collaboration drops.
