Hold onto your potatoes fanboys and fangirls. Last night we received an email from someone named "Y33zy Seezin" with the subject "You gotta peep this" and a file containing the crappily recorded video below.
The attached file appears to be some sort of teaser, recorded off someone's desktop computer.
Here's what happens: At first, it appears to be a black screen, but if you turn the volume on, it's actually audio from Kanye West's 2013 interview with Zane Lowe.
What he says is:
“I am a product person. Not just clothing but water bottle design, architecture. Everything that you could think about. And I’ve been at it for 10 years, and I look around and I say: ‘Wait a second, there’s no one around here in this space that looks like me, and if they are, they’re quiet as fuck.”
What follows is an epic cut of powerful bodies of water interspersed with bits and pieces of what looks like a water bottle of some sort. There's a nozzle and Yeezy branding, the adidas trefoil, and the "3" that was also featured on the back of the Tyvek parkas sent out as show invites for West's Yeezy Season 1 collection.
We've reached out to Kanye West's camp and adidas for comment, but so far have not heard back.
